Hello, I am Nicholas Ayin and I have recently completed my diploma in the Registered Massage Therapist program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. I completed my degree in Kinesiology at Trinity Western University and worked as a Kinesiologist for 2 years before transitioning to Massage Therapy. I also ran Track and Field for 10 years and my passion for sports and helping others with injuries led me to pursuing a career in healthcare. I enjoy working closely with athletes which is why I am also massaging for the Trinity Western University Track and Field team and I also coach Track and Field in Coquitlam.
I like to provide patient centered care and I will always do my best to get to the root of a patient’s problem and treat safely and effectively. Providing patient education and care are essential and I will integrate that into my treatments to help provide the most effective treatment possible. “

Dave Bassaw takes a patient and creative approach to exercise and exercise therapy, as he understands that training does not always have a “one-size-fits-all approach.” He understands that strength and conditioning is more than just an aesthetic; it is needed to stay healthy into our later years as well. Dave is a BCAK-registered Kinesiologist who graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a specialization in Exercise Science.
Dave is also a BCRPA-certified personal trainer, a kickboxing instructor, and a group fitness instructor. Dave’s clients’ ages range from 5-year-old children to 80-year-old veterans.
Dave’s sessions will involve education about body mechanics, strengthening/stretching techniques to aid in recovery and prevent re-injury, and a focus on form correction to prevent future pain and discomfort.
Dave’s hobbies include playing badminton, cooking (he is a YouTube-trained chef), trying out new restaurants, writing, painting, and playing board games. His guilty pleasure is watching WWE and getting way too excited about it. If you get him to talk about wrestling or food, be prepared for a very long conversation.

As a chiropractor, I’m passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and live with less pain.
My approach combines chiropractic adjustments with soft tissue techniques like Active Release Therapy (ART) and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). I also incorporate exercise, massage, and custom orthotics to support movement and recovery.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy before continuing my education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
With a strong foundation in sports and rehabilitation, I bring both personal and professional experience to my practice. Growing up playing competitive hockey gave me firsthand insight into injury prevention and recovery. During my training, I had the opportunity to work with teams such as UVic Men’s Rugby, Camosun Women’s Basketball, and BC Hockey.
I take an inclusive, patient-centered approach to care, helping people develop a deeper awareness of their bodies so they can move with confidence and reach their goals.
